Let me ask you something. What are you working on right now?
Not spiritually. Practically. What are you doing right now to get to the thing you want to have or the place you want to be?
Most of us, if we're honest, organize our lives like this: work hard enough (doing), accumulate enough (having), and eventually become the person you want to be (being).
This is what we've been taught and modeled from birth, and yet it's completely opposite to kingdom living.
And it's not a small mistake. It's the foundational error underneath every place you feel stuck.
The Kingdom doesn't work that way. Kingdom life works best when we operate from a place of Being. Then Doing and Ultimately Having.
Who you are becoming determines what you'll do. What you do shapes what you'll eventually have.
Try to run that sequence in reverse, try to do your way into a new identity… and you'll be exhausted, while still feeling like something's off because something is off.
A bird doesn't flap its wings and hope that makes it a bird someday. A bird is a bird. And being a bird is what makes flying natural.
Here's the uncomfortable part…
Being requires something most of us are afraid to give. It requires 100%. Because God doesn't talk to the version of you that has it together. He doesn't address the curated presentation. He only speaks to the real you.
And the real question isn't what do I need to do differently?
The real question is: What Do I Need To Believe Different?
Who does God say I am...and How Can I Get Myself To Believe That?
