The youngest Adao son is getting married in a few weeks, and you know how it is when a special occasion gets close. Suddenly, you want to lose five pounds, whiten your teeth, hydrate your face, and somehow look ten years younger before it happens!
Well, Mama Suzette has been doing a little experimenting, and has found a few simple beauty products that are affordable and actually work.
She's always eager and happy to pass along something that might help you too, here are a few of her current favorites:
Don’t sleep on Gold Bond! After trying expensive neck creams that did absolutely nothing, she discovered Gold Bond neck cream from Walmart and it has made a noticeable difference. Grab some and give it a try.
Whiten that beautiful smile. She recommends using whitening strips made with natural coconut oil, along with a good-quality electric toothbrush.
Get things moving. A soft-bristle gua sha brush is wonderful for lymphatic drainage and helping with facial puffiness. You can find them really cheap on Amazon, but spend the extra $2 for the one with soft bristles.
Bring on the castor oil. She's been using organic, cold-pressed castor oil for about three months, and is seeing new growth on her eyebrows and eyelashes! She also put a little on her forehead, neck, and crow’s feet.
Prepare for the happy tears. Trish McEvoy tubular mascara doesn’t flake, clump, or leave raccoon eyes. It slides right off with warm water. Mama Suzette loves it and it’s perfect for those special occasions where you might cry…and with her son getting married, expect a few tears!
There you have it, my friends. A few simple, affordable, Mama-Suzette approved beauty secrets for all the ladies out there. Men, you can do these too (except for the mascara, don’t do that one!)
