This week I was on a walk and saw a tiny little snail trying to cross a huge country road.
It was already more than halfway across, which honestly amazed me because you know that little thing had probably been moving forever just to get that far. Cars and trucks fly down that road, so a wrong move at the wrong time and it could've been crushed instantly.
So we stopped, picked it up, and carried it safely to the other side.
Immediately I felt the Holy Spirit whisper: "That's what I'm doing for My people right now."
Some of you have been doing your best to move forward. Slowly healing. Slowly rebuilding. Slowly obeying. Slowly trying again after disappointment, heartbreak, exhaustion, or delay. And maybe you've felt vulnerable while doing it.
God is saying: Supernatural help is here.
Not because you've failed. Not because God is disappointed in you. But… because there are seasons where God steps in and helps carry us through what would've crushed us otherwise.
As I was thinking about this story, I started thinking about the song from Toy Story: "You've Got A Friend In Me." And I felt the Lord say, "My people know Me as Savior, King, and Judge but many don't know Me as Friend."
That hit me deeply.
As a parent, something beautiful happens when your children become adults. You don't stop being their parent, but the relationship deepens into friendship. My grown children are some of my best friends. We laugh together, talk about life together, and genuinely enjoy one another.
And I felt the Lord say: "That's what I want with My people." Not robotic religion. Not fearful performance. Friendship.
Some of you have only related to God through fear, pressure, or striving. But Jesus said, "I no longer call you servants… I have called you friends."
Friendship changes everything. When you know God as a friend, correction feels like protection instead of punishment. Prayer becomes conversation instead of performance and suddenly you realize you were never meant to cross every hard road alone.
Sometimes miracles look like fire from Heaven. And sometimes miracles look like someone stopping long enough to see you and help carry your load.
God is sending supernatural help, strength, wisdom, provision, and divine friendships into people's lives right now.
You are not forgotten. You are not abandoned. And you do not have to cross this season alone.
You've got a friend in God.
